Biography
Yuansong is a senior data science executive that specializes in research, product management, platform development and solution delivery for enterprise clients. She brings over 20 years of experience in applying machine learning and AI to solve difficult business problems in a wide range of industries, from fraud, credit and payment risk detection and management to bond spread predictions and a recommendation engine for wealth management. Most recently, she served as co-COO and Chief Scientist of Opera Solutions, where she focused on core IP generation, solution innovation, platform development and adoption, and internal data science talent & community development.
She has co-authored machine learning publications on peer-reviewed journals, conferences and book chapters, and has patents on analytics based fraud and payment risk detection systems and analytic platforms. In the past, she participated in some highly publicized machine learning competitions, such as Netflix Prize, as a part of the top teams.
Yuansong holds a M.Phil in Computer Speech and Language Processing from the University of Cambridge and Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China.
